Hub & Social Volunteers
Help us run our weekly NAAFI breaks or Breakfast Clubs. From making a brew to being a friendly face for a newcomer, you are the heart of our social inclusion.
Peer Mentors
Are you a veteran? Use your lived experience to guide others through the transition to civilian life.
Event & Fundraising Support
Help us organise local events like Armed Forces Day or assist with community fundraising drives across Stockport.
Specialist Skills
Do you have experience in HR, Law, Finance, or Marketing? We often need “behind-the-scenes” professional support to keep the organisation running smoothly.

Our Hub & Social Volunteers are the heart of our community, hosting weekly socials and providing the “brew and banter” that breaks isolation. If you’ve served, you can join as a Peer Mentor, using your own lived experience to guide others through the transition to civilian life.
For those who prefer a more active role, our Event & Fundraising teams coordinate local highlights like Armed Forces Day. We also highly value Specialist Volunteers with skills in HR, finance, or marketing to help us grow behind the scenes. Finally, for those who can commit to deeper support, we offer pathways into Casework & Advocacy, working alongside partners like SSAFA to provide one-on-one welfare assistance. Every hour you give ensures no one in Stockport’s Armed Forces community has to serve alone.
