Stockport stood tall this weekend as thousands gathered in the Market Place to honour our armed forces community. From the stirring parade led by the Air Cadet band to the replica Spitfire in Merseyway, the day was a powerful reminder of the respect our borough holds for those who serve.
SAFCO Chair, Amanda Peers, noted: “The turnout this year shows that the bond between Stockport residents and our military family is stronger than ever.”
