Every Tuesday between 11 am and 2 pm, the Hazel Grove Civic Hall transforms into a sanctuary for the Stockport armed forces community.
Whether you’re a regular, a reservist, or a family member, the SAFCO Hub offers a “warm space” with freshly cooked food, board games, and—most importantly—people who speak your language. It’s a place to share stories, find professional signposting for mental health (via Op COURAGE), or simply enjoy a quiet toastie.
“It’s not just about the support,” says one regular. “It’s about being in a room where you don’t have to explain yourself.”
