Every Tuesday between 11 am and 2 pm, St. Julien Barracks, The Armoury on Greek Street, transforms into a sanctuary for the Stockport armed forces community.
Whether you’re a regular, a reservist, or a family member, the Community Hub offers a “warm space” with freshly cooked food, a good cuppa and—most importantly—people who speak your language. It’s a place to share stories, connect with services and support, if required, but mainly to just have a good old chin wag!!
“It’s not just about the support,” says one regular. “It’s about being in a room where you don’t have to explain yourself.”
